The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and feature a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver dependable performance in both routine and challenging environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a count hour meter that tracks and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operational time. Additionally, the hoists feature a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and enhance chain longevity, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled design, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming that it has undergone factory load testing at 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
