The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology to deliver high quality, low headroom, and full-featured performance suitable for both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology using a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized; grade 80 nickel-plated load chain; a count hour meter that tracks the number of lowering starts and hoist operating time; a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life; a fan-cooled motor that ensures cooler motor and brake operation; low profile upper and lower limit switches; and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming factory load testing at 125% of rated capacity as per ASME B30.16 standards.
