The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, and full-featured hoists that ensure reliable performance in both routine and challenging working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays lowering starts and hoist on time, a five-pocket load sheave that minimizes vibration and prolongs chain life, a fan-cooled motor that helps maintain cooler motor and brake temperatures, as well as low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
