The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter for tracking lowering starts and hoist runtime, a five-pocket load sheave designed to minimize vibration and extend chain life, and a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler operation of both the motor and brake. Additional specifications include low profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and surpass ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming factory load testing to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
