The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features advanced technology for high quality and low headroom performance, suitable for both routine and severe working environments. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additional features encompass a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, a cooler motor and brake owing to the fan-cooled design, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
