The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive that offers exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which employs a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, as well as a grade 80 nickel plated load chain for enhanced durability. The variable frequency drive provides speed adjustability and includes integral hour counting functionality that tracks the number of lowering starts and total hoist operation time. Additionally, the hoists boast a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake system due to the fan-cooled motor, and low profile upper and lower limit switches. The hoists come equipped with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly as they comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist includes a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
