The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley and incorporates the latest technology to deliver high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists for reliable performance in both routine and demanding environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life. Additionally, the hoists have a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, along with low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
