The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that ensure reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. These hoists include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology featuring a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized. The kit is equipped with grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life. The cooler motor and brake are attributed to the fan-cooled motor, and the design includes low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly, meeting RoHS requirements, and they exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
