The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, and a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The variable frequency drive allows for speed adjustability and includes an integral hour counter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operation time. Additional attributes include a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor for lower operating temperatures, and low profile upper and lower limit switches. The kit comes with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. This hoist series is UL listed to UL 1340, complies with RoHS requirements, and exceeds the ASME H4 duty rating. All hoists are supplied with a test certificate confirming they have been factory load tested to 125% of their rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
