The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology, resulting in high quality, low headroom, and full-featured hoists that perform reliably in both routine and demanding environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter for tracking the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a 5-pocket load sheave that minimizes vibration and extends chain life. The fan-cooled motor contributes to a cooler motor and brake operation, while low profile upper and lower limit switches along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords enhance usability. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
