The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are equipped with cutting-edge technology and a push/pull trolley, delivering high quality and low headroom while ensuring dependable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that tracks and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, as well as a cooler motor and brake facilitated by a fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. All hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, constructed to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
