The NER Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporate an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows speed adjustability as well as integral count hour functionality which records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, these hoists feature a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist includes a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
