The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporate an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which employs a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly, meeting RoHS requirements, and exceeding ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying it has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
