The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which employs a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized. The hoists come equipped with grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a variable frequency drive for speed adjustability, and integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additional features consist of a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and prolong chain life, a fan-cooled motor for cooler operation, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, compliant with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
