The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed with advanced technology, featuring a motorized trolley that delivers high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys for reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operating time. The hoists also feature a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend the life of the chain, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled design, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley includes a durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers to ensure smoother trolley motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
