The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which is a current-driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized, and grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The variable frequency drive allows for speed adjustability and includes integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the hoist incorporates a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, along with a cooler motor and brake due to the fan cooled motor. Other specifications include low profile upper and lower limit switches as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built environmentally friendly to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. All hoists come with a test certificate verifying that they have been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
