The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with state-of-the-art technology and feature a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom hoists designed for reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, along with a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The hoists also come equipped with a count hour meter that tracks and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a five-pocket load sheave that minimizes vibration and extends chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. All hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS environmental standards, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate that verifies it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
