The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive that offers exceptional load control with field adjustable two speeds, achieving up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability while providing integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the design incorporates a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler motor and brake operation, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS environmental standards, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
