The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under-the-cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability. The integral count hour functionality records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, while the 5 pocket load sheave reduces vibration and extends chain life. The cooler motor and brake performance is achieved through a fan-cooled motor, complemented by low profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Additionally, all hoists come with a test certificate confirming factory load testing to 125% of rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
