The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature an under the cover variable frequency drive that offers exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" Smart Brake Technology, which employs a current driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, along with a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The variable frequency drive not only allows for speed adjustability but also includes integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, and a cooler motor and brake due to the fan cooled motor. Additional specifications include low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
