The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized, as well as a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The variable frequency drive allows for speed adjustability and includes integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the design features a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built environmentally friendly to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
