The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and feature a push/pull trolley, resulting in high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and extreme working conditions. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is powered, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that tracks and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operational time. Additionally, the hoists incorporate a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and enhance the lifespan of the chain, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor design, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly by meeting RoHS requirements, and surpass the ASME H4 duty rating. All hoists come with a test certificate confirming they have been factory load tested to 125% of their rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
