The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed with advanced technology and feature a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, and full-featured hoists that deliver dependable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which employs a current-driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a 5-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life, a fan-cooled motor that provides cooler operation for both the motor and brake, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built in an environmentally friendly manner to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Furthermore, all hoists come with a test certificate that verifies they have been factory load tested to 125% of their rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
