The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and feature a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom hoists suited for reliable performance in both routine and harsh working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized; grade 80 nickel-plated load chain; a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operating time; a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life; a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler motor and brake performance; and low profile upper and lower limit switches. The hoists come with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340, built in an environmentally friendly manner to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate, confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in compliance with ASME B30.16.
