The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and a motorized trolley, delivering high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys designed for consistent performance in both routine and demanding environments. Key features of the hoists include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays lowering starts and hoist operational time. Additionally, these hoists feature a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and enhance chain life, a fan-cooled motor that keeps the motor and brake cooler, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating standards. The trolley is equipped with a highly durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers to ensure smoother operation and reduce beam wear. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate that verifies it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
