The NERM series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and feature a motorized trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom hoists and trolleys that ensure reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. The hoists are equipped with "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized. Other notable features include grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter for tracking lowering starts and hoist operation time, a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, and a fan-cooled motor for improved motor and brake cooling. Additionally, the hoists come with low-profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The units are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating standards. The trolley is characterized by a highly durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers to enhance trolley motion and reduce beam wear. Each hoist is delivered with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
