The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates a motorized trolley and is designed with advanced technology to ensure high quality and reliable performance in various environments. The hoist features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that activates only when the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that tracks lowering starts and hoist operating time, and a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life. Additionally, it features a fan-cooled motor for optimal performance, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley includes a robust pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers to enhance trolley motion and reduce wear on beams. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
