The NERM series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates advanced technology and a motorized trolley, delivering high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys designed for reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. The hoist features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a 5-pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life. Additionally, a fan-cooled motor provides a cooler operating temperature for both the motor and brake, while low profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords enhance usability. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Trolley features include a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers to ensure smoother trolley motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
