The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and include a motorized trolley, delivering high quality and low headroom solutions. These full-featured hoists and trolleys are designed for reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key attributes of the hoist include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a five-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life. The hoists are equipped with a cooler motor and brake due to fan-cooled technology, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS regulations, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features a durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers, which enhance trolley motion and reduce beam wear.
