The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features high-quality, low headroom designs, incorporating a motorized trolley for reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. The hoist includes advanced features such as "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. It also has a 5-pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to a fan-cooled motor, and low profile upper and lower limit switches with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features a durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying factory load testing to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
