The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with cutting-edge technology and include a motorized trolley, ensuring high quality, low headroom, and full-featured operation suitable for both routine tasks and challenging environments. Key features of the hoist encompass "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additional attributes include a five-pocket load sheave that minimizes vibration and enhances chain longevity, a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler motor and brake operation, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating.
