The NERM series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a motorized trolley and is designed for high quality, low headroom, full-featured performance in various working environments. The hoist includes advanced features such as "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a Grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. It also has a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and enhance chain life, a cooler motor and brake thanks to the fan-cooled design, low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists meet UL 1340 certification, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley is equipped with a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers to facilitate smoother trolley motion and reduce beam wear. Each hoist comes with a test certificate indicating it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
