The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington is designed with advanced technology and features a motorized trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys that deliver reliable performance in both routine situations and severe working environments. The hoist includes "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a five-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor design, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plugin pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features include a highly durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers that enhance trolley motion and minimize beam wear. Every hoist is accompanied by a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
