The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington is designed with the latest technology and features a motorized trolley, resulting in high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys that perform reliably in both routine and severe working environments. The hoist includes "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operating time, a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, and a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor design. The hoist also features low profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. All units are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley is equipped with a highly durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers to ensure smoother trolley motion and reduce beam wear. Additionally, each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
