The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered using advanced technology and incorporate a motorized trolley, resulting in high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys that ensure reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. The hoist includes several key features such as "The Guardian": smart brake technology with a current driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a five pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to its fan-cooled design, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. This hoist is UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly to meet RoHS requirements, and exceeds the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features a highly durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother trolley motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying it has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
