The NERM series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed with advanced technology and feature a motorized trolley, ensuring high quality and low headroom while providing reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. The hoist includes features such as "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a five-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life, and a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor design. Additionally, it has low profile upper and lower limit switches along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built environmentally friendly to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features include a durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother trolley motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
