The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with cutting-edge technology and include a motorized trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys that deliver dependable performance in both routine and demanding work environments. The hoist features "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, it includes a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor for a cooler operation, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, are built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features include a highly durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers that provide smoother trolley motion and reduce beam wear. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
