The NERM series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporate the latest technology and a motorized trolley, resulting in high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys designed for reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. The hoist features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a 5-pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake attributed to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly by meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features an extremely durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother trolley motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist is accompanied by a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
