The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with cutting-edge technology and a motorized trolley, offering high quality, low headroom, and full-featured performance suitable for both routine and demanding working environments. The hoist features "The Guardian," a smart brake technology that employs a current-driven electromagnetic brake, preventing release unless the motor is energized. It includes grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a 5-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life. The fan-cooled motor ensures a cooler operation of the motor and brake, complemented by low-profile upper and lower limit switches. The plug-in pendant and power supply cords enhance usability. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly as they meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley boasts a durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother motion and minimized beam wear. Additionally, each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
