The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and include a motorized trolley, providing high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys that ensure reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Each hoist is equipped with "The Guardian," a smart brake technology featuring a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized. Additional attributes include a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that logs and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a five-pocket load sheave designed to minimize vibration and extend chain life. The fan-cooled motor contributes to a cooler motor and brake, while low-profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords, enhance usability. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Trolley features consist of a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers, which facilitate smoother trolley motion and reduce beam wear. All hoists come with a test certificate verifying that they have been factory load tested to 125% of their rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
