The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and include a motorized trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys that perform reliably in various environments. The hoists feature "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which incorporates a current driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized. Additionally, the units utilize grade 80 nickel plated load chain and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. They are designed with a 5-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and prolongs chain life, a fan-cooled motor that keeps the motor and brake cooler, and low-profile upper and lower limit switches. The included plug-in pendant and power supply cords enhance usability. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, compliant with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features include a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
