The NERM series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features advanced technology and includes a motorized trolley, providing high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key hoist features encompass "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays lowering starts and hoist operating time, a five-pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor for a cooler operating temperature, and low profile upper and lower limit switches along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly while meeting RoHS requirements, and they exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features include a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers that contribute to smoother trolley motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying it has undergone factory load testing at 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
