The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology, featuring a motorized trolley that optimizes performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key attributes of the hoist include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized. The hoist is equipped with grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter to log lowering starts and operational time, a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, and a fan-cooled motor that ensures cooler operation for both the motor and brake. Additionally, it includes low-profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340 standards, comply with RoHS requirements, and surpass the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features a highly durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers that improve trolley movement and decrease beam wear.
