The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed with advanced technology and include a motorized trolley, ensuring high quality, low headroom, and full-featured hoists and trolleys for consistent performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features of the hoist include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The hoist also features a 5-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life, a fan-cooled motor for a cooler operating temperature, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built environmentally friendly to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley incorporates a highly durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers, which promote smoother trolley motion and reduce beam wear. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
