The NERM series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and include a motorized trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys suitable for both routine and severe working environments. The hoist features "The Guardian," a smart brake technology that employs a current-driven electromagnetic brake which remains engaged until the motor is energized. It also includes a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records lowering starts and hoist operating time, a 5-pocket load sheave designed to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, and a fan-cooled motor to ensure cooler motor and brake operation. Additional attributes feature low-profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley is equipped with a highly durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers that enhance trolley motion while reducing beam wear. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
