The NERM series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and incorporate a motorized trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys designed for reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. The hoists feature "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, and low profile upper and lower limit switches along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. The trolleys are equipped with a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother trolley motion and reduced beam wear. Additionally, all hoists are supplied with a test certificate verifying that they have been factory load tested to 125% of their rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
