The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and feature a motorized trolley, delivering high-quality, low headroom hoists and trolleys that ensure reliable performance in both routine and challenging work environments. Key hoist attributes include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology that utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized; grade 80 nickel-plated load chain; a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time; and a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life. The fan-cooled motor contributes to cooler operation for both the motor and brake, complemented by low-profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. In terms of compliance and certifications, the hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, meet RoHS environmental standards, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating.
