The NERM series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed with advanced technology and feature a motorized trolley, resulting in high-quality, low-headroom hoists and trolleys that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working conditions. The hoists come equipped with "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a Grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, they include a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, as well as low-profile upper and lower limit switches with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. All hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolleys feature a durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers to ensure smoother trolley motion and reduce beam wear. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
