The Nerm Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and include a motorized trolley, resulting in high-quality and low headroom hoists and trolleys designed for reliable performance in both routine situations and severe working environments. The hoist features "The Guardian" smart brake technology, utilizing a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, along with a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, and a cooler motor and brake facilitated by a fan-cooled motor. Additionally, the hoists are equipped with low profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly, compliant with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features include a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for enhanced trolley motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
