The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates advanced technology and features a motorized trolley, delivering high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys designed for reliable performance in both routine and extreme working conditions. Key hoist features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that engages only when the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the hoists are equipped with a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled design, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Trolley attributes include a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers that enhance trolley motion and reduce beam wear. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
